It was acquired directly from the president of a well-established Japanese ceramics company. According to the president, the doll was received by his wife as a commemorative gift around 50 years ago when she got married. This suggests the doll was manufactured before 1975, making it a genuine vintage piece with a clear history as a valued family heirloom.

The doll is beautifully presented on a black lacquered wood base and features an ornate, hand-stitched silk kimono.
